There is not much difference between BA and BA (Honors). In BA (Honors), you are going to give more importance to one subject. Here, that subject is chosen by you. But in BA, every subject is important to pass graduation.
The subjects of both BA and BA (Hons.) are almost same.
In my point of view, Honours is better than normal one as it will help you in gaining in-depth knowledge of a particular subject which is helpful for job or higher studies.
Companies always give more importance to the candidates who are from honours background.
All the best.

This demand is somehow not valid. BA is a Three Year Degree Course. you better see some Open Schooling System where the flexibility is there to complete but Admission is not possible directly in the third year.

Hello Muskan,
For admission to BA in English, there are neither exams nor interviews. Admissions depend entirely on marks obtained in class 12th.

After completing your graduation with BA History, you can go for civil services exams conducted by UPSC. Other than this, you can go for PhD to pursue lecturership which is also a very decent and well-paying job. For this, you can do Masters in History and after that, you can go for UGC NET exam.

UGC NET is an exam for those who are willing to pursue their career as a lecturer or willing to go for research in their respective fields. For research, the government provides a fellowship of INR 35,000 per month (approx.) for those who qualify this exam with good marks. So you will have plenty of options after completing your BA Histor
