You can pursue BA or B.Com, it doesn't matter. For UPSC any recognized degree is valid from any university. Thus, any graduation stream is sufficient for appearing in competitive exams.

Hi Anish,
Different universities have different admission requirements. At least 55% is recommended, higher the grades the better are your chances. And your admission will depend on your overall application package, recommendation letters and personal statement. IELTS scores will also matter.

Hi Anish,
53% is low but you will find options. Ideally 55% and above is required. You must also take IELTS, a score above 6 should be targeted since your academics are not too strong. SOP, Letter of Recommendation etc. will also be checked. Check the study abroad section on https://Shiksha.com, you will find university names. You can visit the links for entry requirements.

Dear,
As per Bar Council of India, the minimum percentage is 45% for SC/ST and OBC category students in graduation if they want to pursue LLB programme.
So accordingly, you are not eligible.
You need to upgrade your grades in Master's degree, you can apply for LLB programme.
All the best.
