University was established by UP State Govt.Act 23 of 2010 & U/S 2 (f) of U.G.C.Act 1956. It is not UGC recognized. As per university website it has applied for UGC recognition. You may approach registrar of university for all clarifications before taking admission.

Yes, you will get a college but if you want to get a good college then you may prepare for MAT.

At Indraprastha College for Women, Delhi University, admission to this course is entrance-based and not on the bases of merit. However a minimum eligibility criteria (based on your board result) for appearing for the entrance is set, which varies from year to year. The entrance is based on general awareness ,current affairs , english comprehension, grammatical and analytical skills . Since it's a self financed course and allows access to advanced equipment and device offered by the college, the fees is in about Rs. 70,000 per year.

BA English is a fairly flexible course and offers diverse career options such as -
1. Management careers - marketing, human resources, etc.
2. Hospitality, event management, public relations, corporate communications.
