B.Com Eligibility

LPU curates Bachelors of Education programme aimed to prepare teachers as per NCTE guidelines through comprehensive curriculum, intensive training and field engagement with special focus on developing ability to qualify CTET/STET. The eligibility criteria is pass with 50% aggregate marks in Bachelors Degree or Masters Degree in Sciences or Social Sciences or Humanities or Commerce or equivalent. Or
Pass with 55% aggregate marks in B.Tech. Or B.E. With specialisation in Science and Mathematics or equivalent
So you are eligible with B.Com if you have 50% plus marks. LPU ensures the following programme outcomes:
1 : Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment Related Decisions : Take decisions regarding curriculum, pedagogy and assessment as per needs at various levels of education.
2 : Pedagogical Knowledge : Demonstrate pedagogical knowledge to substantiate perspectives and theoretical frameworks.
3 : Using ICT for Developing Learning Resources : Use technology in designing and developing ICT integrated learning resources.
4 : Classroom Management and Assessment : Evaluate children's needs, motives, growth pattern and the process of learning to manage classroom climate and assessment.
5 : Diagnosis and Treatment : Examine and diagnose pupils' difficulties and deficiencies in achievement.
6 : Organize Co-curricular Activities : Plan and organize co-curricular and extra curricular activities.
7 : Environmental Awareness : Demonstrate awareness and sensitivity towards issues affecting schools, communities, nations and the world at large.
8 : Deploy suitable methods, strategies and techniques of teaching to achieve instructional objectives at school level
9 : Manage classroom environment to ensure effective learning
10 : Create appropriate teaching learning resources using ICT
11 : Conduct research to improve process and product of education
