St. Xavier's College Ranchi offers various courses at UG & PG level. The courses like BA, BCom, BSc are among the popular ones. The college conducts an Entrance Test for Admissions for the students. For Bcom Hons the students need at least 50% in Accounts and Business studies each in class 12 commerce.

Candidates must complete Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 50% aggregate to apply for BCom programme at SRM Vadapalani. The institute selects candidates for BCom course based on their qualifying exam scores.

The eligibility of getting admission in BCom at Xavier School of Commerce is Class 12 pass (or equivalent) in any discipline, with at least 60% marks in aggregate, from a recognised Board. Class 12 students, who are expecting their results, can also apply.

Candidates applying to BCom programme at Gurukul College of Commerce should have passed Class 12 with atleast 45% marks in aggregate. Reserved category students are given a relaxation of 5%.
