A candidate taking up Honors Course in a subject must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate and 45% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination or 55% marks in the subject or related subject at the previous qualifying examination.

Yes you needs to take some basic coaching because you are in different stream. 1. Minimum marks (in HS. or equivalent 10+2 examination) required for online application. For General category Candidates: 75.00% in aggregate and 60.00% in the related subject. For OBC-A and OBC-B West Bengal only Candidates: 67.50% in aggregate and 54.00% in the related subject.
