Hi,
The application process for B.Com is through offline mode, i.e., by filling up and submitting a form, and through an interview with the Vice Principal of the commerce section. The minimum eligibility for the course is that the students should have passed with minimum 45% of marks in HSC or its equivalent from a recognized board.

Hi Yamini,
The M.Sc. Economics course is a bit different from the other Masters of Economics courses. It is an Integrated First Degree course in which you can take admission after 12th Standard and appearing for BITSAT Exam. The eligibility criteria for BITSAT is "Candidates should have passed the 12th examination of 10+2 system from a recognised Central or State board or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and adequate proficiency in English. The course is open to students of all streams, and not just for those with a commerce background. Students from a non-commerce background at the Intermediate/Plus 2 level will have to appear for a qualifying test in basic Accounting, Mathematics, and Computer Literacy. Hello,
Yes, you can apply for B.Com course after class 12th science. Here is the eligibility criteria, which has been decided by educational committee-
B.Com (Honors)
All Boards: (I) Candidates from
Commerce stream- Minimum 60% aggregate and 60% in accountancy
(II) Candidates from science stream- Minimum 60% aggregate and 60% in Mathematics
(III) Candidates with eco, stats and maths in Class XII- Minimum 60% in aggregate and 60% in Mathematics
SC/ST (ALL BOARDS):(I) Candidates from commerce Stream- Minimum 40% aggregate OR 40% in Accountancy

You should have completed your 10+2 with at least 50% marks in +2 and commerce as the main subject in your +2 would be better.
If you are a Science student, you may opt for B.Com but accounts will be somewhat different and a completely new subject for you.
