It is a great combination. Once you clear your CMA US, there are a number of companies and industries where you can work. Some of the industries where a person can easily find work are F&A consulting, financial services, Big 4-public accounting firms, and many other Fortune-500/2000 companies. Hedge fund/investment banking firms to recruit CMA's in big numbers. So if someone wants to start working as soon as clearing their CMA's, the opportunities are vast. You can check out Miles Education's website for more information.

Generally, most Indian B.Com graduates are eligible to take the CPA exam. Every year of university education in India is equivalent to 30-semester credits of US Education, totaling 90 credits at the end of 3 years. If B.Com is completed in 1st division from a NAAC 'A' university, the 3-year B.Com would be treated as 4 years of US education, I. e. , 120 credits for B.Com alone. Having a 2-year Master's degree (e. g. M.Com MBA) contributes to 60 education credits. Further, professional qualifications like CA/CS/CWA are recognised by few States as 2 years of US education. In case yours is a NAAC 'A' college, you'd be able to appear for t

Generally, the cut-off for admission to the B.Com (Hons) is higher than that for the admission to B.Com (Pass) in the majority of commerce colleges/prestigious universities. As B.Com (Hons) is more business-oriented and in-depth, it is highly suitable for making a lavish career in Chartered Accountancy. As a faculty at LPU I would suggest B.Com (Hons) from LPU. LPU do offer B.Com. (Hons. ). Programme with above mentioned Specializations with most evolving pedagogy. Some of the Unique features of LPU in perspective to B.Com. (Hons. ).
