While some specializations, such as B.Com in Finance and Accounting, might involve more complex mathematical concepts, many other specializations do not.

If you have a strong foundation in commerce, then a B.Com programme shouldn't be too difficult.  Furthermore, the B.Com curriculum includes numerical work, financial statements, and economic concepts, so if you have a keen interest in any of these areas, it would be a good fit for you.

As per the admission information available on the latest MGKVP brochure, there is no provision for direct admission to the BCom course offered at the university. Aspirants are shortlisted based on the merit obtained in the qualifying exam. Based on their performance in the qualifying exam (Class 12/equivalent), the university allocated BCom seats through university-level counselling. Further, candidates are required to fulfil the course-specific eligibility criteria.
