Students must have passed Class 12 from a recognised by State or Central Education Board. They must have taken five subjects in Class 12 with an aggregate score of 50%. The university has not specified the subjects required in Class 12/ equivalent examination. So Maths is not compulsory to take admission to the BCom (Hons) course of SRM University.

The total tuition fees for the BCom programmes range from INR 7,500 to INR 3 lakh. It varies based on chosen specialisation and the affiliated college from which the course is being pursued. Besides, the fee structure includes other components as well. A few of these are security deposit, library fees, etc. Some of these components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually or semester-wise. It must also be noted that the given details are as per the official website/ sanctioning body. It is still subject to changes and hence, is indicative.

The course syllabus is inclusive of core and electives. Candidates can choose the preferred electives from the given list in the curriculum. SLS PDEU BCom (H) course of four-year is divided into eight semesters. Mentioned below are some of the electives:
