No, candidates can not get direct admission at JMC for BCom. Interested candidates must appear for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to be eligible for the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) of Delhi University. CUET is conducted by the NTA. Candidates must also meet the CUET eligibility criteria prescribed for the admission to the course. Following the exam, the candidates must register for CSAS on the official website of DU. To be eligible for BCom admission at JMC, a candidate must have passed Class 12 with relevant subjects and have a valid CUET UG score. As per the eligibility criteria of CUET UG for BCom admissions, the minimum percentage required in Class 12 is 50% for candidates belonging to the general category. Additionally, the candidates must have taken CUET UG with either one of the following two subject combinations: 

  1.  List A languages + Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, and at least one subject from List B1
  2. At least one subject from List B1 + Accountancy/Book Keeping, and any one language from List A

Yes, Jesus and Mary College offers BCom as a UG-level programme that lasts three years. The college also offers a BCom (Hons). The admission to both the courses is based on scores of CUET UG and the seats are allotted through the CSAS, DU. On completion of the programmes, students are awarded a degree of the University of Delhi as the college is affiliated with the university.

The Jesus and Mary College BCom cut-off has not been released yet. However, it is expected to be released soon as the CUET UG 2024 result is out. The previous-year cut-off for BCom admission at the college was 792 for the general category during the last round of seat allotment. Aspirants must aim to score higher than the previous-year cut-off to secure a seat for BCom at JMC.

Jesus and Mary College BCom admission dates change every year. CUET UG is the accepted entrance exam for BCom admission at the college. The application process for CUET UG 2026 will open in March 2026. The CUET UG exam 2026 will be conducted from May to June, 2026. The counselling and seat allocation are expected to begin in August 2026, after the release of CUET UG result.

Yes, Jesus and Mary College provides placement opportunities to all its students. However, the placement data specific to BCom at JMC is unavailable. However, the college's NIRF Report 2024 containing the median pacakge offered to the students prusuing UG (3-year) courses at the college is available. The median package over the past few years as per the report has been presented in the table below:

Students pursuing BCom at Jesus and Mary College can apply for a variety of scholarships and prize. Most of these scholarships are merit-based. JMC BCom scholarships include Miss Jayati Deshmukh Prize, The Sultan Chandan Memorial Scholarship, Prof. KP Mathur Scholarship, etc. The college also provides scholarships for candidates admittied under the categories of Chrisitan Minority, or through sports/ward of staff quota.

The curriuclum followed at JMC for BCom and BCom (Hons) is specified by the University of Delhi. For both the courses, students have to study a combination of core, elective and Ability Enhancement papers/subjects. Each subject carries certain credits. The total number of credits to be earned by students pursuing BCom and BCom (Hons) at Jesus and Mary College are 132 and 148, respectively. While the Ability Enhancement papers are same for both the courses, the number of core and discipline-specific elective papers is more in the curriculum of BCom (Hons) as compared to BCom (Programe).
