Both K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce and St. Xavier's College are good options to pursue BCom. However, in terms of affordability, St. Xavier's College is more affordable since the tuition fee to pursue BCom at K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce is INR 30,000, and the tuition fee to pursue BCom at St. Xavier's College is INR 23,361.

To know which is a better choice, students must weigh both options based on important factors such as fees and ratings. As per official sources, the fees to pursue BCom at K J Somaiya College of Arts and Commerce and St. Xavier's College is INR 30,000 and INR 23,361, respectively. In terms of fees, St. Xavier's College is a better choice.

BCom, or Bachelor of Commerce at Mangalore University is an undergraduate degree in Commernce. In order to be eligible for studying BCom, students have to successfully pass their Class 12 or equivalent in the relevant stream. It is a noteworthy feature that students with Commerce or Science at their higher secondary level can also study BCom. The admission process is based on the merit, which is evaluated on the basis of scores, candidates have achieved in their Class 12/higher senior secondary.

Yes, candidates can get direct admissions to BCom courses at Mangalore University and its affiliated colleges. However, before getting enrolled, candidates are required to fulfill the eligibility criteria, i.e., the  successful completion of the Class 12 examination or its equivalent from a recognised board.

Admissions are based on the merit of the last qualifying examination marks. Moreover, the university offers BCom courses in part-time mode in several specialsaitions. The minimum scores required for admission to the BCom course at Mangalore University-affiliated colleges range from 45% to 50%. The eligibility criteria that is available on the official website of the university is candidates must complete their Class 12 from a recognised board of education. Therefore, candidates with 70% scores in Class 12 are eligible to get admission into BCom courses. However, the admission is based on merit, so there are chances that the students with more than 70% secured all seats in the BCom programme.

According to the information available on the official website of Shiksha, the average placement package offered to BCom graduates at Mangalore University, ranges from INR 2.2 Lacs to INR 3.5 lakh. On the other hand, the average package offered to BCom graduates at Mysore University ranges from INR 60,000 to INR 4 lakh. 

In conclusion, Mysore University offers the highest average package for BCom courses compared to Mangalore University. However, the initial average package for BCom graduates is higher at Mangalore University than at Mysore University.

The total fee for a BCom course at Bangalore University ranges from 14,100 to INR 6.5 lakh. On the other hand,  Mangalore University BCom fees range from INR 3,800 to INR 28,500. Hence, Mangalore University is more affordable for BCom courses compared to Bangalore University. However, to consider which institute is the best option for a BCom, the fee structure can be one component that candidates can consider, but several other factors can be counted while competing with the universities, such as station package, recognition, specialsiations offered, seats ranking, accreditation, etc.
