Nehru Arts and Science College admission to students in its BCom courses are made based on the merit in Class 12. In order to be eligible, a candidate must have passed Class 12 and obtained an HSC certificate is eligible to apply. The admission committee of NASC also prescribes upper age limit for admissions, which is 21 years as of July 1 of the admission year. However, the college provides relaxation on this limit in case of excellent meritorious students. NASC also offers upto five years of age relaxation for physically challenged applicants.

Alva’s College offers four Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, i.e., BCom-General, BCom in Professional, BCom with Computer Application & BCom with Tax Procedure which is spread over three years and consists of six semesters.
