NID Jorhat commenced the first batch of Graduate Diploma Programme in Design (GDPD) in 2019. This batch is yet to pass out and hence the placements have not taken place. Keeping in mind the placement record of other NIDs, it would not be wrong to say that NID Jorhat placements will witness leading companies from the fashion industry to offer job opportunities to the talented pool of students.

The latest cutoff information for admission to B.Des at NID Jorhat is as follows:

  • For the Open category, GEN EWS candidates, and overseas candidates, the qualifying cutoff is 50%.
  •  OBC-NCL candidates need to secure a cutoff of 45%.
