Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (Sir MVIT) are: candidates should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories) in Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics; and qualifying in KCET for Karnataka students, COMEDK for non-Karnataka students and management quota admissions are conducted as per the Karnataka state government and VTU policies.

To be eligible for admission to BE/BTech course at Vishwabharati Academy's College of Engineering, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% aggregate in class 12 in a relevant stream from any recognised board. Eligible students will have to appear for either the JEE Mains or the MHT CET exam, followed by the Maharashtra state counseling or the JOSAA counseling, and score a valid rank to be eligible for the course.

For candidates to seek admission in the B.E. / B.Tech programme, they are required to have passed 10+2 pattern with physics, chemistry and mathematics, as compulsory subjects, with overall minimum marks of 45% for general and 40% for reserved classification. Admission is based mainly through Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions (TNEA) counselling, which will rely on the students marks from the 12th standard, plus the nativity verification if they did not study their 8th to 12th education in Tamil Nadu. Candidates may opt to apply for the additional management quota basis their performance, but again do not separately orientate themselves

Eligibility criteria for B.Tech: 10+2/Intermediate/PUC from a recognised board+ Andhra Pradesh EAMCET entrance examinations.
Admissions under category 'A' (regular) are made by the Andhra Pradesh state council of Higher Education through a common entrance test EAMCET.
Admissions under category 'B' (Management) are made by the college based on the merit in the common entrance tests like EAMCET, JEE.
