According to the MET eligibility criteria, the students should have scored a minimum of 50% in 12th standard qualifying examination. The marks should be an aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and one optional subject. If the criteria is not met, the students will not be considered for admission.

Candidates who have completed a Diploma in Engineering and Technology or BSc with minimum 45% aggregate (40% aggregate for backward class, economically weaker and PwD category candidates who belong to Maharashtra state) are eligible to apply for BE (Lateral Entry) programme at Zeal College.

Cambridge Institute of Technology North Campus, Bangalore B.E eligibility requires candidates to complete the last qualifying examination from a recognised board. Students wishing to enrol in the institute need to have completed Class 12 with a minimum aggregate of 45% (40% for SC/ST/OBC students from Karnataka). Students must have studied Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects in addition to Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics as one of the optional subjects.
