The opening and closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 51553 and closing rank was 76206. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. Admission to BE in Information Technology in D.Y. Patil College of Engineering, Akurdi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. Applicants are advised to confirm what category are they applying while checking for cut offs.

For B.Tech criteria is :
• Candidate must have passed class 12th with minimum 75% marks or equivalent by the AIU or Intermediate or 2-year Pre-University exam conducted by a recognised Board/ University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/ Technical Vocational subject.
• Candidate who have passed the Class 12/equivalent examination in 2021, 2022, or those who are appearing in Class 12/equivalent examination in 2023, are also eligible to appear.
Placement are decent in this college.
The maximum salary package offered was 8 LPA by F
