For teaching in higher secondary school level you need to have done Masters and B.Ed also. For teaching in college you need to clear NET exam after completing Masters. If you want to teach in college there is no need of B.Ed. Regards.

Please see the difference between the qualifications required for PRT / TGT / PGT teachers. Essential Qualification for (PRT) Teacher: Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B. El. Ed.)
