For the B.Ed programme at Smt. Kapila Khandwala College in 2025, the exact fee structure is a matter of administrative discretion and can be subject to yearly revisions. This breaks down to about fifty-one thousand two hundred and fifty rupees per year. The fees typically cover tuition and other academic expenses. Additionally, there may be small charges for application, exams, and library or miscellaneous fees, but the primary cost for the degree is around this amount. Admission requires a graduation degree, and fees must be paid to confirm the seat after eligibility criteria are met.

With a BA English degree from Kerala University and 40% marks (3rd class), you generally do not meet the standard eligibility for B.Ed admission at Kerala University, which requires a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in graduation for general candidates. There is some relaxation for reserved categories (like SC/ST or SEBC), where 45% to 47.5% may be accepted. Since your 40% is below these thresholds, direct eligibility might not be granted under usual criteria.
If you belong to a reserved category, you may have some concession; otherwise, it is unlikely that you will be eligible for B.Ed admission with 40% marks at Kerala University

Currently, the one-year integrated B.Ed. course is not available in Karnataka or any other part of India. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) has recently reintroduced the one-year B.Ed. and M.Ed. programs, but they will be implemented from the 2026-27 academic session. This means that while the one-year B.Ed. is coming, it won't be available until after the current academic year.
