BEET Exam 2023 notification has not been released yet by Patna University. It is expected to release in June, 2023. The application process for the exam for BEET exam is expected to commence from June 2023. Once the application form releases, candidates will be required to fill the application form for admissions to B.Ed courses. Although, the BEET Exam examination schedule has not yet released. It is expected to be held in July, 2023.

What is BEET Exam?
BEET (Bachelors of Education Entrance Test) is a university-level entrance exam conducted by Patna University for admissions to B.Ed course. Through Patna University BEET exam, candidates can secure admission in Patna Training College for Men and Patna Women’s Training College.

BEET Exam Eligibility
BEET exam eligibility criteria for B.Ed is as mentioned below:
- The candidate needs to possess a Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Science\Social Science\Humanities\Commerce with at least 50% marks
- Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialization in Science and Mathematics with 55% marks
- Relaxation of 5% will be given to reserved category candidate as per the guidelines of the Government of Bihar
- It is essential for the applicant to study at least two of the following courses in Graduation\Post Graduation: English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Urdu, Persian, Arabic, History, Political Science, Geography, Economics, Humanities, Physical Science, Biology, Maths, Commerce, Computer science
Reservation & Related Information
- SC / ST / EBC (BC-I) / BC (BC-II) / BCW and physically challenged (handicapped) candidates will get reservation as per the prevalent norms of the Govt. of Bihar.
- SC, ST, BC-I, BC–II candidates will have to enclose caste certificates issued by a competent authority (CO/SDO/DM).
- Physically challenged candidates should enclose a certificate from a Civil Surgeon or any other medical officer of the rank higher than the Civil Surgeon.
- Visually challenged (blind) candidates will be allowed a writer, whose qualification will be decided by the university.
- They should obtain prior permission from the Controller of Examinations, Patna University in this regard, 10 days before the commencement of the entrance test and obtain a written permission.
BEET Exam Admission Process
BEET exam admission process includes the following steps:
Step 1: Fill application form
Aspirants need to fill the application form online on the official website. They also need to upload their photograph and scanned signature such that it is maximum of 50 KB in size and is in JPG/JPEG/PNG format. The registration fee for UG programmes is as given below:

Step 2: Download admit card
Aspirants can download their admit card from the official website of the exam as per the prescribed schedule. Candidates need to login into their registered accounts to download the admit card.
Step 3: Appear for BEET exam
Students need to appear for entrance exam as per the prescribed schedule. Aspirants are advised to reach the exam centre at least an hour before commencement of the exam.
Step 3: Check BEET exam result
The university declares the results for the entrance exam on its official website. The varsity also displays the result on its notice board.
Step 4: Class commencement
The university commences the classes soon after the BEET exam results are announced.
