Eligibility criteria for B.Ed correspondence course to apply for entrance exam:
1. Graduation from recognized university with at least 50% marks.
2. Two years experience in teaching in a school recognized by the GOVT.
CORRESPONDENCE B.ED can be done from University of Jammu Directorate of Distance Education, Jammu.

Yes, you can apply for SET. 55% marks in PG level is essential to write this exam. If you clear this exam you can get lecturer jobs. So, you need to pursue post graduation so as to attend this exam.

You can pursue both the degrees simultaneously but not as regular from the same college/university. Like if you are pursuing B.Ed as regular then the other one should be through distance or you can go for a dual degree programme.
