Candidates who have completed their graduation in any discipline from a recognised university are eligible to apply for the course. At least two years of work experience is also essential for one to join a reputed distance learning institute. Here is the list of some major universities which provide B.Ed course in Distance Education:
-Andhra University
-Bangalore University
-Himachal Pradesh University

Yes, engineering graduate too can apply since eligibility states that it's graduation from a recognised university. I am attaching a link that will give you all the required information.
