Candidates should complete the prescribed teacher training programmes/teacher education courses.

Diploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed (Special Education) recognised by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only will be taken into consideration. A person who is currently pursuing any of the education courses recognised by the NCTE or the RCI is eligible for appearing in CTET 2020.

Both regular and temporary recruitment is done for the post of Trained Graduate Teachers (TGT) & Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) for secondary and senior secondary level. Biotech life Science candidates are eligible for both TGT and PGT -Biology posts.
