B.P.Ed

BPEd which is also called Bachelor of Physical Education is a popular course in the field of Physical Education that prepares candidates to make a career in Sports and Nutrition. This course is designed for candidates who are passionate about sports, games, and fitness. To apply for the B.P.Ed course candidates must have finished their third year of degree from recognised colleges or university in Andhra Pradesh. They must be a minimum of 19 as on July 1, 2025. Candidates will have to submit their pass certificate during counselling for final admission.

For the D.P.Ed. course candidates must be of a minimum 16 years as on July 1, 2025, and they must have passed intermediate or similar course approved by the Andhra Pradesh government. Candidates who are in their final year can also apply provided they will have to submit their qualifying certificate during counselling.

Eligibility criteria  for B.P.Ed at College of Physical Education Bharati Vidyapeeth:

The candidate should have passed B.Sc. Bachelor's degree in any discipline of Science & technology with minimum 50% (45% in case of SC / ST) aggregate marks from any recognised university.

For teaching profession, B.Ed is now compulsory. So, B.Ed is mandatory after b.p.ed to become a teacher.

The admission notice for B.P.Ed. at Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education (LNIPE) in Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, was dated April 22, 2024. The registration for the physical and skill test for B.P.Ed. was also dated April 19, 2024. Looking at these dates, we can say that the admission for the 2025 session will also be done during April.
