Aspirants who are willing to get admission to the VU Pune BPharma programme are required to fulfill the basic eligibility criteria set by the institute. As per the official website, students who have passed the Class 12 examination with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually are eligible to apply for the BPharma programme. The criteria is the same for all category candidates.

The KEAM eligibility is same as all other courses for Bpharm candidates. However, the acdemic criteria should be as follows:
- Candidates who have passed the 10+2 examination conducted by the Board of Higher Secondary Education, Kerala or Examinations equivalent thereto with English as one of the subjects and Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology as optional subjects individually are eligible.
