Hi,
It is a good option to opt the B.Sc bio-technology. You can explore yourself in various public sector areas. Going for higher studies is also a nice idea.
You can also go for the following profile.

If you want to grow yourself in research then firstly go for Masters and appear yourself in CSIR net exam. This exam is specially designed for a researcher who wants to see them as a scientist. Don't know what this exam is about, read here - https://www.eduncle.com/csir-net-exam

Hi,
You can prefer MBA or M.Sc. You have to appear for CAT, MAT or XAT for MBA. For M.Sc. you have to appear for TIFR or IIT-JAM.

Biotech is very niche field and has very specific jobs with decent salary. B.Sc is decent but doesn't pay high salaries. B.Tech is highly technical into engineering and offers streams like mechanical, IT, Electronic and telecommunication, Metallurgy, Civil, etc. with high salaries if done from top colleges.

Biotechnology has many wider scope. Once you are done with B.Sc, then you can go for food technology, molecular biology and biotechnology, microbiology, dairy technology, genetics, biochemistry, engineering and bioinformatics.
After completing M.Sc, you can opt for doctoral studies, and then you can try for a job.
All the best.
