No, NIT Suratkal doesn't offer B.Tech Biotechnology course and any of the B.Sc. Courses. If you want to pursue Biotechnology, then you have to go with other top institutes present in Karnataka.

You have not specified about the college, where you wish to pursue the course. However, the eligibility criteria at VJIT Mumbai is B.Sc. With Chemistry / Microbiology or equivalent as the principal subject from any University in Maharashtra State, securing at least 50% marks in aggregate. (45% marks in case of Reserved Category Candidates). Hence, the students with B.Sc Biotechnology are not eligible for this programme.

Hi. Yes, the application process for these courses commences in the month of June. Admission is done through an entrance test conducted by the college. Admission to the integrated courses is done on the basis of merit only.
