Hi, yes it is a good course. Any student who is contemplating pursuing a career in Biotechnology must be aware that this field is still developing in India. And the work is also lab work oriented. After a B.Tech degree, students can find jobs in pharmaceutical companies, research labs and institutions in India.
Best of luck.

Hi,
Yes, you are eligible and it is indeed a good choice. More than food technology, try for food biotechnology in PG.

Hi,
The cut off is very unpredictable, it increases every year. But be prepared for 85+ percentile in boards, that's the minimum score.
The first seat gets reserved at 94% or something. So considering all odds, reservations be well prepared with a nice results! Add +5 % to last year's cutoff. That much would be the max score you can predict as your cutoff.
Best of luck.

If you are interested in studying both zoology and biotechnology, try applying for B.Sc Advanced Zoology & Biotechnology course, many universities across India offer this course. However, BE Biotechnology has its own perks since you become eligible for both industrial and scientific jobs. If you are interested in study of animals, zoology is for you.
