My review of this college.
Placements: The placements were good. Many companies approached the college for our students. Companies like Accenture, Wipro, Worldpay, Capgemini, TCS, Infosys, and others came for recruitment. Internships were also provided by the college. Many students did off-campus internships and completed several certified projects in their areas of interest. For MCA, the average package was a minimum of 4 LPA or more, and the highest package last time was 20 LPA. Based on their talent and skills, students got placed.
Infrastructure: Hostel life was amazing, and the fees were also very reasonable. The food in the mess was nice. There was sufficient space for everyone. Cleanliness was maintained, and regular inspections took place to check food quality. There was a 24/7 water supply in the hostel. Rooms were shared by two people.
Faculty: Our college faculty was very good. Only well-learned faculty members were there. They taught students using projectors, and some subjects had lab sessions for practice. Our college was digital. Faculty were very supportive. They always tried to help students and regularly attended classes on time. Bunking of classes by teachers was almost negligible. At RVS College, three exams were conducted each semester: one internal exam, a model exam, and the final semester exam. The main subjects also had practicals, one model practical and one semester practical. Overall, the course curriculum was good. It was very effective and reliable. The syllabus was updated as per new technologies and developments. Exams were tough enough, but they helped increase reading habits. Attending classes and labs regularly was compulsory because short attendance could disqualify you from being a regular candidate for the examination. 75% regular attendance was required. Workshops were conducted on the college campus for different branches every 3–4 months.

Master of Social Work (MSW) - Batch of 2026

I am satisfied with the course I have chosen, and I would recommend it to others.
Placements: Students who pass out are being placed in the best MNC companies and with good passed marks and highest marks. More than 90% of students get placed. Companies like Zoho, Infosys, TCS, etc., offer placements to students. The internship and block placement training are being added to the course curriculum.
Infrastructure: The college's physical infrastructure is very comfortable for students. It contains a computer lab, physics lab, chemistry lab, psychology lab, etc. The library is the highlight thing of the college, which is located in the center of the college. Every block is named in alphabetical number order.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-trained and experienced with high subject knowledge skills. They are friendly and easily approachable to students. The course curriculum is very innovative and useful for students' future. Semester exam questions will be based on the question banks offered to students.
Other: I chose MSW because I have an interest in social work activities. The best thing about the course is students will gain fieldwork experience during the curriculum itself.

Master of Computer Applications (MCA) - Batch of 2026
3.2
3Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
It is one of the best colleges to pursue MCA.
Placements: The college has an intermediate-level placement cell that provides training and regularly hosts placement drives. About 20% of students secure positions in reputed companies each year. The highest salary is Rs. 20,000 per month, and the lowest is Rs.12,000 per month. The college does not offer internships; students must find paid internships independently. Top roles include computer engineer, software developer, web designer, etc.
Infrastructure: The college has good facilities. It is an NAAC + accredited institution. Wi-Fi facilities are available in the classroom as well as in the labors. The library is worse and has a huge collection of books relevant to our discipline. The quality of the food in the mess and the canteen is average. Medical facilities are available in the nearby hospital in case of emergency. College is due to participate in various sports and games activities like cricket, badminton, and volleyball.
Faculty: I found teachers helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable during my studies. Many experienced professors teach here. The curriculum is mostly up-to-date and prepares students for the industry. Exams are moderately difficult, and the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: After completing my graduation in Maths due to my interest in computers especially in coding is selected MCA as my post-graduation course. One of my friends referred me to this college. I think the college should improve its placement cell, and have to invite more reputed companies to the placement drives. Various events and cultural programs are conducted regularly on the campus. Where are curricular activities such as seminars Webinars and workshops conducted?

The enjoyable and best faculty our college.
Placements: I'm pursuing BBA in Logistics at RVS CAS. Around 80% of students in my course are placed. The lowest salary package is Rs. 18,000 per month, and the highest is Rs. 50,000 per month. CEVA, TCL, and a few other companies recruit from my course. There is 100% internship in my course. The course offers roles such as logistics manager, warehouse jobs, supply chain jobs, and extra.
Infrastructure: All facilities are available in our college and are provided in a decent manner. The food is prepared in a clean and tasty way. In the library, we gain knowledge from books and lab systems. All kinds of sports items are available in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members teach us with good knowledge and explain life theory. They don't just teach from books, instead, they share lessons from their own experience and guide us on how to get a good position in life. The semester exams are easy for us because faculty members are teach us with clear explanation. The pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in learning it. I am also improving my knowledge through online classes that are relevant to this course. Our college conducts all extracurricular activities and events.

B.Sc. in Computer Science - Batch of 2025

2Placements3Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
It is value for money, but the placement is very bad.
Placements: The placement rate in my course is below 20% to 30%. The highest package offered is Rs. 10,000 to 30,000 per month. Companies that recruit the most in my course are Sagility and Sutherland. In terms of internships, more than 30% of students are placed, with Flipkart being one of the major companies offering them. The most in-demand jobs in my course are in business intelligence, such as business analyst and data analyst roles. These positions focus on business data analysis, driving insights, and facilitating decision-making processes within organizations.
Infrastructure: Compared to other colleges with a similar fee structure, our college offers better-than-average teaching and infrastructure. The department is well-equipped with labs, well-lit classrooms, high-speed Wi-Fi, and a good library with a good collection of books and research materials. The hostel rooms are clean and comfortable, though maintenance needs improvement. The mess food is average, with some days being better than others, and the canteen offers a variety of snacks. But, also emergency care and security control can be improved.
Faculty: Maximum faculty members are good, except for staff. They mainly focus on teaching the syllabus rather than preparing us for the industry. It happens only in the final semester during interviews. Actually, it depends on the student. If the student is attentive in class, then the exams are easy, and the pass percentage is more than 90%.
Other: Basically, I am interested in computers because I get my first laptop when I was in 7th standard. It is my uncle’s daughter’s laptop, till now I never reduced my graze on the computer. I want to become someone who creates software products that others depend on, which is why I chose B.Sc. Computer Science. The dress code, rules, and syllabus are designed to prepare us to be industry-ready.

M.Sc. in Biotechnology - Batch of 2024
3.4
3Placements4Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
One of the average colleges in Coimbatore to pursue Masters in biotech.
Placements: College has a placement cell. It works hard to invite major companies institutions, etc., to visit the college and provide students with job opportunities in their disciplines. About 50% of students from my batch were placed from my college interviews, however most of the students were placed in Non core jobs. After the completion of my course I took an internship in a biotech company and after that I am working in MSN laboratories as an executive trainee.
Infrastructure: In my college for biotech students, good classrooms, library laboratory facilities are available. Many big instruments were availed to students in collaboration with DBT scheme. Wi-Fi facility was available in computer lab. Classrooms were big and vast. I didn't stayed in the college hostel. College don't force students to stay inside the college hostel, they allow staying outside. College canteen provides quality foods at the cheap rate. First aid facilities are arranged inside the college campus. College encourages students to get involved in various sports and games activities.
Faculty: The major drawback of college is in providing better faculty members. Most of the faculty members are retired or seems to be not interested in teaching anymore. Most of the teachers a qualified but cannot be said that they are knowledgeable. I felt many of the faculty members are taking classes pathetically. Apart from that the college curriculum and syllabus are up to date and it have the capacity to make the students ready for the industry. I didn't felt exams as much hard, minimum pass percentage was 50.
Other: I choose this course because after B.Sc. in biotechnology, I didn't got any jobs. Most of the companies demanded M.Sc. I suggest my college to replace all the retire faculty members and bring talented teachers.
