B.Sc Eligibility

Dear vani, If you passed with Science in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as your subjects then some of the best courses that you can pursue are the technical courses such as BE/B.Tech in Engineering. The duration of this course is 4 years and you can also choose the branch of engineering that you wish to specialise in such as mechanical engineering, civil engineering, chemical engineering, IT engineering, computer Science engineering, genetic, plastics engineering, etc. To apply for the engineering courses, you will have to crack the entrance exams such as JEE Main. You can also opt for Diploma courses in engineering and the duration of that will be 3 years. On the other hand, if you passed Science in class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as your subjects then you can go for medical courses in medicine, dental surgery, physiotherapy, pharmacy, nursing, etc. To apply for admission to any of these courses, you will have to appear for the NEET exam. On that basis, students will be shortlisted for admissions to the medical courses.

The B.Sc. Hons. Physics eligibility criteria of Bethun College is given below.
1. Only Female candidates are eligible to apply.
2. A candidate who passed the Higher Secondary or its equivalent Examination (10+2 level) in 2020 or 2019 is eligible to apply for admission to the B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours) courses.
3. Candidates who passed in Vocational Stream are not eligible to apply for Honours Courses.
4. A candidate must have passed in English (full marks not being less than 100) in the previous qualifying examination to apply for B.A. / B.Sc. (Honours) Courses.
5. The minimum required aggregate marks of 10+2 are 60%, While the minimum marks required in individual subjects are Physics 65%, Mathematics 60% and English 50%. .
