B.Sc Microbiology

The B.Sc. In Microbiology is a 3- year long, full- time course divided into 6 semesters, with each semester lasting for a period of 6 months. Eligibility criteria :- Completion of Higher Secondary (10+2) level of education with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as main subjects at HSC level with minimum aggregate score of 60%. Admission Process :- For admission to the course, most institutes and universities in the country follow a merit- based admission process. Marks scored by applicants at the Higher Secondary level and/ or relevant entrance test are taken into consideration. Seats are accordingly allotted to deserving candidates. Bachelor of Science in Botany or B.Sc. Botany is an undergraduate degree course for three years duration. It is one of very common courses in Science stream and many universities and colleges offer this course. Students who have passed 10+2 with PCB with 55-60% of marks are eligible to take admission in this course. Admission Process :- Reputed institutes rely on merit based admission process. Such institutes make use of relevant entrance test to select deserving candidates. Some institutes are also known to conduct their own qualifying test in order to select deserving candidates.
