So, if you opt biotechnology then you can study different fields like : Plant tissue culture ; Animal tissue culture ; immunology ; microbiology ; Bioinformatics ; Bio - chemistry and many more.

For salary, it depends upon the field you have specialised in. If you decide to join industry then biotechnology is more fruitful than microbiology.
