Gender never decides the courses. It is your interest in which side you can do better. Choose that side.
I suggest you to go with Engineering, because it has more scope rather than B.Sc.

If you are interested in making your career in Government field then you can appear in the CSIR NET Exam. It is the exam which is conducted for the selection of lecturers and Research Fellows in many prestigious Institutes of India. Yes, you are certainly eligible to get job in ISRO (Indian Space Research organisation) after successful completion of B.Sc. in Physics course. As you are done with B.Sc. in Physics, you are eligible to apply for the post of Technical Assistant or Scientific Assistant. The basic educational qualification required for the above mentioned posts is Graduate Degree or Diploma course from a recognised university. As you have completed B.Sc. In Physics, you are eligible to apply for ISRO Technical Assistant Recruitment with the above-mentioned criteria.

5) Moreover you should refer to Lev Landau, the first 3 parts The 2nd part is particularly very good.

7)For Thermodynamics Sears and Zemansky.

You have to start from scratch, probably do a Bachelor's degree in nursing besides fulfilling other pre-requisite courses. If you did not have biology in class 12th thing will be difficult. You should start emailing colleges abroad and enquire about the possibilities.

There are many Science colleges in DU like Aryabhatta College, Acharya Narandev Veketeshwar College, where you can apply for Physics (h). There are other colleges also, like, Deshbandhu College, ATMA Ram Sanatan Dharam College.
