B.Sc Scope

Bachelor of Science in IT itself is not recommended. Don't expect great things merely from Bachelor of Science course. This is a very basic course and would not offer any good job. The career prospect is slightly dim only with a Bachelor of Science. In the private sector, I would say that you can apply for a job in BPO with this qualification. Most of the IT companies would not offer a job with a graduation degree unless it is B.Tech. There can be a good scope in the government sector. You can appear for Civil Service Examination or the IBPS (Bank PO). Both require candidates with graduation in any stream and percentage is not an issue. If you aim to work for any IT firm then you should start considering post graduation degree. I would recommend MCA (Master of Computer Applications) or M.Sc IT as these courses would open the doors of MNC and IT firms for you. There is another option i.e. MBA in IT.

Obviously, MBA is for suitable for B.Sc Nursing candidates because after completing MBA, there is a lot of scope and job opportunities available for B.Sc Nursing candidates.
