After completing your Bachelor's degree, many career options will be available for you. But, first you have to decide that what do you want to do and in which field you are interested. If you are interested in further studies, then you can go for M.Sc, MCA, MBA, etc. You can also make your career in professorship or research field. If you are interested in jobs after B.Sc then you can prepare for government jobs and competitive exams like IAS, UPSC, IBPS and SSC exams.

After completing B.Sc, you can pursue Masters in statistics from Indian Institute of Statistics, Sri Ram College of Commerce, etc. After completing this course, you can work as a statistician in Department of Statistics in Central Government.

You chances of cracking medical entrance examination are definitely higher after B.Sc. You are advised to apply for medical entrance exams to fulfill your dream of becoming a doctor. However, if you do not make it to medical now, you may revisit your decision and opt for an alternate career option.

Yes, it is necessary for M.Sc to get a degree in the same subject. So, if you want to do M.Sc in botany you have to do B.Sc in the same.
