2. M.Sc statistics is science of math working for prediction or conclusion based on the experienced data. It is of high demand in the market as no progress is achieved with out statistical analysis. Wide range of application tends to wider.
3. If you are interested with the implementation process and technique drawn from statistical conclusion i.e. if engineering is always active in the back of your mind, go ahead with operational research.

A candidate with B.Sc can apply for jobs in UPSC, SSC, Public sector Bank, State PCS and even in Indian Defense etc.
If I talk about central government jobs then by attending the UPSC exam, you can apply for civil service posts like IAS, IPF.
Railway also conducts the recruitment exam for various technical posts.
You can also opt the teaching profession in various recognised universities.
While preparing for all these exams, candidates need to make their fundamentals strong.
