It is a good idea, but you have done B.Sc in physics, then you have lot of scope. You can go for M.Sc and explore the world with the knowledge of physics.

If you are really interested in doing research, then you can go for M.Sc. After that, you can give GRE and TOFEL or IELTS for Ph.D, if you are interested in foreign university. You can also do Ph.D from India.
