Tell him not to quit. Arrange for extra classes or some kind of support to help him through this difficult phase. Let him complete the degree, and then look at further career prospects. His only objective now should be to complete his B.Sc degree with a good grade.

First, you need to decide whether you want to work after graduation or pursue a Master's degree. If you are planning to work, the following options are available for you:
1) Mathematician-You can choose to pursue research (become a scientist) in your area of interest (Maths).
2) Chartered Accountancy-If you like auditing, taxes and accounting, you can think of preparing for CA too.

It would be better if you gain some work exp. in your field as at the time of PI, they will ask you questions. So, it would be better to go prepared and know fully why an MBA will help you to realize your dreams. And there is no better way to know other than having some exp. beforehand.

Minimum qualification for an individual who wants to pursue B.Sc in agriculture requires the person to be from science stream i.e. PCB/M, so yes you can pursue B.Sc. Agriculture if you are from the maths stream.
