You can do M.Sc chemistry hons in which you will take special branch of chemistry and take lectureship. You can appear for SSC PSC exam.

All fields are good for better future, but I would like to grab your attention towards something which is more important.
If you are planning for going in some engineering field, you will have to gain as much knowledge you can throughout your 4 years of Bachelor's degree.
If you will be proficient in that particular branch then you need not to care about which branch is better.
If there are less opportunity that doesn't mean you should not go ahead and vice versa.
Finally, just analyze your capabilities and take a decision.

Unfortunately, you have scored less than 60 % and hence I feel that your chances have diminished. I fully understand and appreciate your dreams and wishes. But unfortunately IT study needs more than 90% marks for admission. Hence, you will have to really think of something else or seek admission in private colleges through management quota. Many colleges I some states are giving admission for science degree holders.
