Yes, as you are from B.Sc in maths background, you can go for the same. If not go for marketing, then you can go for finance and operations which has got more opportunity.

'Mechatronics is a multidisciplinary field of Science which combines study of mechanical engineering, electronics, computer engineering, telecommunications engineering, systems engineering and control engineering'.So it is a blend of all these fields.

I would suggest you to choose B.Tech biotechnology in comparison with B.Sc biotech. Because after doing this, you will have more opportunities. You can also go for teaching & also a job in any company related to this field.

You will face two issues most likely if you are applying to Canada. First, many Canadian universities do not accept the three year Bachelors degree and second very high academic grades are required. 65% for a Masters degree from Canada has little chance. You can look for graduate certificate or PG Diploma courses. Check Australia too. Which courses you want to study is your choice. Explore options. Check this list:
