Hi Himakshi,
India ranks second worldwide in farm output. Agriculture and allied sectors like forestry and fishing accounted for 15.7% of the GDP in 2009–10. Agriculture continues to be the mainstay of the Indian economy. Food is the crowning need of mankind and much emphasis is laid on commercializing agricultural production. Hence, adequate production and even distribution of food has lately become a high priority global concern.
Agriculture has long been seen as a sector with tremendous potential in India. In the last few years the sector has seen an unprecedented gain with several government and private sector initiatives.

have bright future. I suggest you is to do this course from best institutes only. There

B.Sc. Agriculture program helps the students to recognize the elements of agriculture. Most of the government and private institutes are offering the program. Collecting degree is not enough u must have practically sound also. First of all i would like to suggest u that whatever u r doing do it thoroughly. Clear ur fundamental concepts. It should not be like that making second floor without any foundations. Industry requires Technically sound professionals not the theoretical persons. Instead of collecting degree take any International Certifications with u in less amount of time which helps u more. Lots of career lines are there in IT industry as well. Yes you can get admission to both BSc and BTech on the basis of your performance in 12th board exams.There are several private universities which offer admission on the basis of 12th marks. But you have to crack their entrance tests too. GLA University Mathura offers admission on the basis of entrance test. The minimum percentage required for entrance test is 60% in class 12th.
