Usually, BSc and BSc Honours are considered to be equally important academically. But a BSc Honours degree is slightly tougher than a BSc general, as it has a more in-depth approach towards specific subjects. An honours degree lasts up to 4 years and has more research components as compared to a normal BSc degree. An honours degree is advisable when you have a rigorous interest in one specific subject.
