AMIE is equivalent to graduation in engineering for all practical purposes including as qualifying exam for admission for M.Tech of course one needs to have other criteria if specified. Hi,
Mathematics is not a must for admissions in IPM. The current batches IPM host a large chunk of students from Commerce background. However, I feel there are courses in each term which require a decent grip over mathematics, Thus mathematics isn't a must, but it is a necessity to perform well in IPM.
