Hi

After applying, the institute considers institute-level tests and merit scores of students for MS and PhD admission. For BTech, MSc M.Tech courses, JEE Advanced ranks, IIT-JAM, CEED and GATE scores are considered for the selection of candidates

Admission into various undergraduate programs across IITs is through JEE Advanced.

Candidate should be in top 2,50,000 candidates (including reserve category) clearing JEE Main – Paper 1.

General category candidate must have secured at least 75% marks in Std. Choose the reference books wisely.

IIT Tirupati offers the four-year BTech across five specialisations, namely Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering and Civil Engineering. Admission to all these BTech courses is based on their JEE Main and JEE Advanced score followed by JoSAA counselling. More details are as follows:

  • Admission to 100% of the seats in BTech is done on the basis of JEE Advanced ranks during JoSAA counselling
  •  Cutoff reservations, however, are applicable to SC/ ST/ EWS/ OBC-NCL/ PwD candidates as per Govt. of India rules

From BMSCE Bangalore, SVUCE Tirupati, and GNDU Amritsar for B.Tech in CSE department, I'll prefer you to opt for the BMSCE Bangalore as this is the best college all in terms of placements, infra and faculty.

Dear Partha, according to me, Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupati is better for B.Tech (CSE) because of its better infrastructure, the latest syllabus, qualified teaching, high tech labs, etc.
