There are about 350+ best Engineering colleges in Uttar PradeshSome of the top Engineering colleges in UP include IIT Kanpur, IIT BHU Varanasi, Amity University Noida, MNNIT Allahabad, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Petroleum Technology, IIIT Allahabad, Galgotias University, and many others. Among these, 315 colleges are privately owned, 56 colleges are owned by public/government organisations, and public-private entities own 3 colleges. JEE Main is the most accepted entrance exam in top Engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

One can appear for entrance exams like JEE or UPSEE. Some universities also conduct their own entrance exams. Admission is based on entrance score of any these two exam followed by counseling.

You have raised very interesting query. Based on your parents domicile, perhaps you too can get UP domicile. But, taking lateral admission is different game altogether. For you, best thing would be to approach some Engineering college directly and seek their advice.

I think for you private college is the best but the fees still not lie in your range so apply for the scholarship if cant pay the fees ans still it is difficult than apply the TFW I.e tution Fee Wiveer which will be helpful for you.
