Given below is the basic list of important documents that you must keep handy during the BTech Mechanical Engineering admission procedure:

While several private colleges and colleges also offer admission to students on the basis of their Class 12 marks, most of the top Mechanical Engineering colleges in India admit students on the basis of valid entrance test scores.

The NITs and the IITs need valid JEE Main and JEE Advanced scores respectively, for providing admission to students to the BTech Mechanical Engineering course. You can start from the eligibility for the BTech Mechanical Engg at the colleges you're targeting. Usually, it falls between 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 in the PCM background. This may vary from one college to another, as for the IITs, you will have to score at least 75% in Class 12 board exams.
