Application fee: For the B.Tech programme in Mechanical Engineering, RGUKT - IIIT Basara, the application fee is Rs. 500/- in case of candidates belonging to OC/BC category of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States and Rs. 450/- in case of candidates belonging to SC/ST category of both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States. The application fee has to be paid in online mode at the time of filling the application form through RGUKT official website.

Yes, why not! You can do a M.Tech in any relevant specialization of your choice after doing BTech in Mechanical, provided you appear for GATE exam and score well in the same. Almost all of the reputed Indian engineering colleges and universities provide admission to MTech courses on the basis of GATE score or conduct their own specific entrance tests to assess the capability of the aspirant. You must prepare well for the exam to get good marks and a decent rank to get admission to a top engineering institute.

The desired Andhra Pradesh EAMCET ranges between 1000 to 10000. The cutoffs vary each year it depends on no. of seats vacant, no. of applicants, and the category (General/ST/SC/OBC)., but especially for mechanical engineering it ranges between 5,000 and 7000 for sure admission.

Raffles University has an excellent placement record for its B.Tech programs, including Mechanical Engineering. Around 95% of students get placed soon after completing their studies. The average salary package for B.Tech graduates ranges from INR 5 LPA to 12 LPA, with some getting as high as INR 13 LPA.

The Mechanical Department is also very good in this college. Good Mechanical Engineers come out of this college. The placement is also good for every department. It has a 70%+ placement percentage for most of the department. Around 52 companies visit here to recruit students, and the placements are good for CSE, IT, ECE but not for other branches like Mech, EEE and civil.

IIT Kharagpur JEE Advanced Cutoff was released based on the category and gender. For the General AI category candidates, the Cutoff ranks ranged between 415 and 20427. To get B.Tech. (Hons.) in Mechanical Engineering, the General AI category candidates must have secured a minimum cutoff rank of 3613. For the General AI female candidates, the minimum JEE Advanced rank to get Mechanical Engineering was 10732. For the OBC AI category, the cutoff rank for Mechanical closed at 1721.
