The course fee for BTech Nanotechnology differs from one college to another. Apart from the tuition fee, the BTech Nanotechnology course fee may include additional amount like the accommodation fee for hostel (if you're living far away from home), semester exam fee, lab work fee, and other charges. The average BTech Nanotechnology course fees at popular Indian colleges is between INR 3 lakh and INR 12 lakh.

There are around 21 BTech in Nanotechnology colleges, out of which, 20 are private and 1 govt. college. In private colleges, you can go for SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Amity University, SASTRA University, Mahindra University, Indrashil University, etc. as they provide a decent study environment along with remarkable placement opportunities after the completion of BTech Nanotechnology course.

The B Tech in Nanotechnology syllabus is a mix of both core and elective subjects. The core subjects are basically the ones that are compulsory for you to study because they cover very important concepts related to the field.
Coming to the elective subjects, you can definitely pick the subjects as per your interests, the ones you find interesting and experimental. There are a lot of elective choices given to students for their convenience.

The BTech Nanotechnology course is a perfect combination of both core and elective subjects. The 1st year syllabus mostly has core subjects to give you a basic understanding of the field and get some fundamental facts clear. You will then start getting elective choices from the 2nd year onwards where you can choose a few subjects that you find more interesting to study and easy to understand.
Some of the elective choices include Polymer Science, Additive Manufacturing, Nanoelectronics, Nanocomposites, Functionalization of Nanoparticles, etc.

For getting admission to the BTech in Nanotechnology course at popular colleges, you should start by checking their eligibility criteria and making sure you meet the same. Usually, the minimum B Tech Nanotechnology eligibility is getting 50 to 60% marks in Class 12 board exams.
The next thing you need to do is to give relevant entrance tests like JEE Main, GUJCET, TS EAMCET, etc. and get a good score in the exam. You need to also fill out the college application forms before the last date.

The BTech Nanotechnology course duration is usually 4 years in India. The general duration of BTech courses is 4 years where you get to learn both the theoretical and practical aspects of the field of Nanotechnology. A lot of colleges also offer integrated BTech-MTech degree programs in Nanotechnology at the UG level that are 5 years long.

After the BTech Nanotechnology exam results are out, you need to apply online for the college counselling. You need to upload all the necessary documents and pay the counselling fee. You will then receive a confirmation from the college authorities.
Further, you need to log in to the respective counselling portal and choose your colleges for admission. Then, seats will be allotted on the basis of your rank and score in the entrance exam. After the seat is allocated to you, you have to visit the college to confirm your admission by paying the Nanotechnology course fee.
