As per the official, the university has not released any course-wise placements data for the latest year. In the year 2022, a total of 77 students got placed in different stream courses by top reputed companies. No placement. Not a single company visits there for campus placement. I would not recommend Pailan Group of Institutions for any one far or near. They show you a lot of hopes and talks about internships and placements during the course period but that never have been existed during my 3 years college days in Pailan. Please don't go to Pailan. Waste of time, money and lack of management doesn't care for the issues that's ongoing in the college.

NIT Jalandhar placement report 2026 is yet to be released. But based on past reports, students can expect an average package of INR 10 - 17 LPA. In 2025, the average package for CSE was INT 15.83 LPA. While in 2023, it was INR 17.53 LPA. While the latest placement drive saw a dip in the average package, sources on web report that this year the institute may see a better package compared to 2025.

As per the latest report, NIT Jalandhar recorded 73.79% placement rate for the Class of 2023 till Mar 7, 2023. Earlier in 2022, the NIT Jalandhar recorded 81.76% placement rate in the academic year 2021-2022. Going back to 2021 placements, NIT Jalandhar recorded 81.76% placement 63.44% placements rate.
