Yes, Jain (deemed-to-be) University, Bangalore is ranked by the prestigious NIRF under its 'Engineering' category. It was the fourth-best NIRF-ranked Engineering college/university in Bangalore in 2024.

According to my opinion, BTech cyber security is better than B.Sc cyber security. As in engineering there is a large exposure of learning and to get the industrial work experience as a practical.

You can get lateral entry admission to BTech Civil Engineering after completing a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field with at least 50% marks in the Diploma final exams. Further, you need to give relevant lateral entry entrance tests either conducted by the university or the state. Rest, you should always see the admission criteria for lateral entry given on the respective college websites that you're targeting.
